The Pacific Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is a non-profit residential outdoor school located on the beautiful Mendocino Coast. PEEC offers a coastal ecology program primarily for fifth through eighth grade students.
The intent of our program is to begin where classroom study must end. First hand field experience provides a unique learning opportunity normally unobtainable in a standard school curriculum. The program's emphasis is on the interdependence and interrelationship of human beings and the physical environment in which they live, taught with the hope of developing within students an environmental ethic and a respect for the natural world.
